Title: $199 10.1" Android ICS Tablet
Post by: imugli on May 29, 2012, 02:49:41 am
Guys,

Thought with all the gadget freaks here that this may interest some of you.

GPS is about the only thing I can think of that this thing doesn't have, but other than that it doesn't look too bad for gizmo / streaming duties, playing angry birds and checking emails / facebook...

Basically Kogan find no label products being made cheaply in Asia and whack their logo on them.

Warranty support apparently isn't the best, but for $199, it may just be worth the risk...

The Coby/Kyros tablets are priced just hair 'cheaper'.  I get to Taipei or Hanoi about 3x a year and usually pick up their latest and greatest for a decent price.  Toys 'R Us in the US have begun to carry some of their models.

Coby makes a lot of the middle-range (quality, price) Android tablets.  Their product gets OEMed by an even dozen other names/brands.
