Title: Making theater view menu fade away
Post by: gworrel on June 02, 2012, 10:44:46 am
I like the background images in theater view as I am playing music. I don't like the fact that the menu persists on the screen. Is there a way to make the menu options fade away after a set period of time, and come back with a button press or keystroke?  I am thinking of the way the video playback controls show up when you move the cursor to the top of the screen then go away as the movie plays. I have a plasma screen and persistent text is a bad idea, beside the fact that it is just annoying and distracting. I have looked through all the options and cannot find anything that seems to apply. Thanks.

This is an excellent request.  Can we have this the same way in Theater View?

I'm all for it as well. Especially the the rollers when you're in for example Playing Now just listening to music. It would be very nice to fade it away until actually activate one of the items on the rollers.
