Title: Gizmo streaming video subtitle issue.
Post by: BumbleDawg on June 04, 2012, 05:53:24 pm
Hi there.

I'm using MC17, along with Gizmo on my Galaxy S3 and everything works and plays fine quality wise.

It required me to install Flash Player 11, as Gizmo uses Jwplayer to play the videos. And again, everything works brilliant.

When I stream an AVI file however, with a .srt subtitle, seeking the file essentially resets the subtitle timings and puts it right back at the beginning of the subtitle, making it essentially impossible to watch a foreign movie with working subtitles.

Is this a known issue and are you guys looking into it?

Thank you for your time and responses. :)

Also, could an additional option be incorporated into Gizmo that allows you to choose an external player to play video files streamed via Gizmo? The default Jwplayer is severely limited in its options and significantly restricts the potential of Gizmo.
