What's most amazing is that it isn't caught swirling in the Great Pacific Trash Vortex (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pacific_Garbage_Patch).

I think the first reported junk was crab or lobster pot buoys

I think I remember part of a harley with the license plate traced back to Japan also.

I just wonder about some of the fish\tuna from that region are ending up in Tuna cans bound for the USA.
