Title: Question about last.fm scrobbling
Post by: ksvane on June 07, 2012, 11:06:26 am
If you are not connected to the internet, will MC cache the listened tracks and submit them once online again?
If yes... that's not happing to me.
If no... it really should.

If we fail to submit, we'll keep trying each 30 minutes until the program is closed.

Have you considered making it so that all tracks that cannot be scrobbled are saved for later scrobbling? This is similar to what last.fm's own scrobbler does...

We've talked about it, but it's not a high priority.

It seems reasonable to me that having Internet is a requirement for using online services like Last.fm.

As a workaround, you could keep Media Center running by using Media Server.

But my laptop and I are not always where there's internet. Frequent travellers would really benefit from the addition of such a feature.
