Title: Is the problem Vista or MC17?

I setup MC on a Vista machine just to play around and demo.  However, all dvd rips have failed.  Here is what occured on each:

1. Rip successful.  Playback not.  Message: "Not setup for this region"
2. Failed Rip
3. Successful rip.  Playback brings me to dvd menu, not start of movie.


Is this a MC ripper problem or Vista?

If you are trying to rip a commercial dvd for personal use then you will need AnyDVD installed as the disks are protected.
