Title: MC17 Reinstalls when computer reboots

Windows 7 64bit professional, HP Desktop computer - JRiver user since MC14.

MC17 extracts and reinstalls every time my computer is rebooted. No other version has done this - whats up?

That sounds like you've got the install package in your startup.  You could search for MediaCenter*.exe and remove the install packages.  MediaCenter170172.exe, for example.

Or, it may just be the most recent update installing itself.  You could turn off updates in MC Options for Startup.

If the program downloads an update, it will install the update the next time the program is run.

You can configure the update behavior from the Help menu.
