Title: Playback on TV
Post by: johnnyboy on June 15, 2012, 07:54:53 am
Somehow by accident when I tried to playback a song it sent it to my Smart TV for playback.
Took me a while to get it to playback normally but it made me realise this is even possible.

Only problem is it said the format was not supported.
The file I was trying to playback was only an mp3 file so it should be supported.

Can anyone care to explain what this feature is and how I get it working?

(Samsung UE40D6530 Smart TV)

Thanks

You didn't say what build of MC you have but try turning on DLNAExtra under the DLNA server configuration, Advanced.
It's likely that you clicked on the TV under "Playing Now" inadvertently changing the zone from MC (player) to the TV.

Everything you need to know about DLNA:
