Title: How to keep theater view skin changes with each update?
Post by: Visth on June 22, 2012, 02:40:14 pm
Must be simple. I have made a small change to the obsidian theater view, to have the current zone and current time appear in the right upper corner. I then use a command line entry to change zones while in theater view using a toggle in the root menu of theater view. Works great. recommend it. I can describe in more detail if anyone is interested.

Only issue is that every time MC updates, I have to make the same changes again... Not too hard, I just copy and paste my saved file with changes over the updated default file, but there has to be a way to keep my skin change unaffected by the update. How? I am missing something truly basic I am sure.

On a side note, I would love to read other peoples theater view skin tweaks. Tricks. Tips.

Just copy (ctrl drag) and rename the folder, then in the new folder change Name in the main.xml file (line 3) to something new.
