I wish to purchace Media Jukebox however am unclear on the type of license provided.  If I buy now, what version am I purchasing and is the license still valid for future versions?

Your best option is to download the latest version of the 8.0 beta, available in a thread here, and buy it.

If you buy 7.2.280, the license will work with 8.0, but not the next version.
