Title: Delay in Subtitle Rendering

Just noticed that forced subtitles do not load properly in build 17.0.180 - may have manifested earlier tried 17.0.178 and shows the same behaviour there as well.

Basically the first expected subtitle does not display, but the second and subsequent subtitles display correctly - these are all with forced subititles - I have no need for subtitles other than non-english parts. All video files with subtitle stream exhibit the same behaviour.

Anyone else noticed this?

Yes! In my case I often start subtitles part way through a show  It takes a while to see whether the action worked or not, because the first instance of the subtitles never shows up.
It didn't occur to me that it could be a bug, but I assumed that was just what it took to launch the subtitles.

At least I know its not just me - now if we can just get someone at jriver to acknowledge the bug (if it is one) and hopefully it can be fixed to everyones satisfaction.

This is an outrage! I've lived with this bug for days. And what hurts most? The fact that I blamed myself, not JRiver; I'm not sure my self-esteem will ever recover.

As promised by Matt - issue resolved in build 17.0.182
