I'm being told, rather than asked, to download an mp3 encoder, LAME, for $9.99. I have the aforementioned bit-of-kit. I don't want another one. Why can't I use the already installed version on my PC?

MP3 encoding is a paid upgrade in Media Jukebox.

It's included in Media Center, which is our flagship product.  You might give MC a try.
