Title: How to turn off Theater View background colors?

I want to view my custom backgrounds in Theater View without colors added. How can I do this?

What colors are you talking about my background images don't have any additional color. screenshot?

Tools>Options>Theater View>Theme>Background. The options are skin image, and colors. I can't figure out how to turn off the colors. I want to view my backgrounds without a color overlay in Theater View.

Select "skin image" from the  background drop down menu.

When I select Skin Image, I am still getting whatever color is the default for the Skin. Attached is a screenshot of the Obsidian Skin w/ background color set to Skin Image. This is way too dark. How can I turn off the color added to the background image?

Theme backdrops are always alpha blended into the skin.  Otherwise, text would not be readable in many cases.

You can control the opacity with Theater View > Options > Theme > Image / video mix amount.
