Title: Portable Install on Same Drive opens same library

Hi

I have just re-installed MC on my new computer, I've tried to make a portable installation on the same drive as well but they seem to share the same library.

I tried restoring the backup for my portable install and it just overwrites the library for the main installation as well.

Any ideas why it would be doing this?

A portable drive install is meant for something like a USB drive that you take with you.

Describe your main setup in more detail.  it may help to understand what you want.

Thanks Jim got it working now, don't know what happened.

Something to do with media server I think?? I disabled media server on the portable installation now it is showing its own library
