Interesting article on The Digital Lifestyle. I don't agree on with the author about the ten foot interface but the info on WASAPI Loopback was pretty good.

Hi
I'm the author of that article. Thanks for the kind words.
As I hopefully say in the article, my only real concern on 10 Foot is with the problem I have with Theater View with Image Retention on my Plasma. If the menu text faded out during playback I would be happy to use it.
I do as I say currently prefer the Windows Media Center(WMC) 10 foot aesthetics but that may be familiarity and I suspect I could get over that with some judicious skinning. Although I would miss the WMC MyMovies interface (the new changes to MyMovies that allow sidecar xml generation do help though)
Most of our readers are WMC users so hopefully this article will ease them in to trying MC and seeing just how good it is.

Garry just interviewed Matt and me for his show. We're famous. He has kindly agreed to allow us to post the recording when it's available.

The interview is available as an MP3 on that page. It's also on their podcast:

It was a real pleasure interviewing Jim and Matt.
From the feedback I've already had I think that there may well be quite a few new users joining the JRiver clan.
Even if you are an exisiting JRiver MC user it is well worth a listen with lots of good information.
Many thanks again to Jim and Matt for sparing some of their very valuable time.
