I want world peace. It might be hard to implement in MC18 though.

I think it's arrogant to impose this on us all. If you must implement World Peace, I want the option to turn it off, please.

That's why it must be configurable. Most prefer a selectable peace, with themselves exempt, and are willing to kill to get it.

world peace, oh will not be easy.
I am thinking only of the different religions.
windows - apple - Andriod.
will they understand at some point?

itunes can syncronize an android phone with music
mc can syncronize an ipod touch / iphone with music
until then,
all have different wishes, fulfilled or unfulfilled

Will probably crash a lot due to code acting to maximize process spawning in a finite memory address space. This instability could be mitigated by a null loop delay to slow everything down.

Obviously it must be zone configurable. I can see days where I would want world peace downstairs but upstairs world be able to play something more dramatic. I also want to be able to see whether world peace is running direct - entirely losslessy or whether losses are being made on route.

How about a "Dolby Volume" like DSP. So many movies just sound out of balance music is so much louder than dialog. I use a digital optical output and HDMI audio. I hate having to hold the remote to adjust for lack of compression. On the other hand many IMAX titles have the audio flawlessly balanced so I can just set the volume and forget it.

Even if J River adds world peace to MC 18, many users will not see the benefit and wait for a future version to upgrade.

No doubt. Maybe it would help to code-name MC 19 Apocalypse Now—to suggest something might be lost by failing to embrace World Peace. It would also be fun to respond to feature requests with, "Not until the Apocalypse." Or would the expected, "Please, please, please, I want eye-candy before I die" be too much to bear?

WOW! Very good! That has been an issue for me as well!
World Peace will come when humanity disappears from it. So please, don't do way with humanity in MC18... They've been giving JRiver a stellar year.
