I found weird that when I have MC closed and in other app, if I press the "info" button in remote, theater view opens. It seems that the media server service keeps listen to the remote commands, I suppose to monitor for the green button in case you want to splash MC if pressed, but its an uncomfortable situation that also the "info" button opens MC. Can anyone confirm and can be fixed?? Thank you !

I upgraded to MC 18 and I hope this could be fixed in either version please!
-
Anyone?

When running in Media Server mode, we still listen for remote clicks. This is for the Green Button, but other buttons may get caught as well.
I suppose we could consider adding an option if this is a problem (it's not really for me).
How about this: if you can get to +10 votes in this thread, we'll add the option to v18.
Thanks.

I don't have this problem my self, but that is probably only because I use MC exclusively. If I used other apps regularly and their shortcuts on my remote triggered MC Theater View, I think I would be somewhat frustrated. I don't know how many commands we're talking about here.... Perhaps you could add an option to suppress all commands but the Green button? I'll add a vote if it does not take to much time of of other things to fix it :D

Same here. I've actually reprogrammed my info button to a 'Ctrl J' so I can easily get the MadVR OSD on and off without reaching for the keyboard. I can see it would be annoying if you are using something else though.

I've had similar issues in the past also, so if we can make it optional, I'm in for that also

+1, I used to have this issue when running TMT as well as MC on the HTPC (but the issue died down when MC started playing BD naively and I uninstalled TMT).... I guess the issue could come back as I now had to reinstall TMT to support the 1 x 3D BD I own!

+1 Sounds good to me..

+1 . The media server and the base application should be kept seperated.

Matt, will 7+ do it? :)

Make that 8. I would like this option as well.

Is this only about the info button, or also about the green button?
-
Buttons that take you to MC even if closed (media server running only):
Green Button (This one it's ok to be here I guess)

We'll try to address this in a coming build of MC18.
Our plan is to only catch the green button when running in server mode.

Thank you vey much Matt! :o
