Title: Connect to synology audio station dlna via internet
Post by: daan@carda.nl on August 24, 2012, 05:05:45 pm
Hi,

I have a synology (dsm 4.0) with audio station. Using the DS audio app (dlna) on my Phone I can browse and play my music over the public internet, no matter where I am.

At home I have mc17 and now I want to play the dlna music the same way. Synology is somewhere on the internet. It's not at home. I can reach it with an ip address. I have it protected with a username/password though.

Can I do this with mc17? And if so, how?

Thanks!

Daan

Hi Daan,

Currently there isn't a way to add manual entries in MC's DLNA zone list which is what you'd need to do since it's not on your lan.
