Title: Sync'd SmartLists are Empty on my Galaxy s3
Post by: LiquidBreadMan on August 26, 2012, 07:56:24 am
I am able to sync the music over to my S3 and it shows up just fine, but the playlists all show up as having 0 songs.  Any idea why this happens?

Additional info...  the playlists are empty on my ASUS pad also.  All the music I've selected is sync'd, and the Playlists show up, but the playlists show 0 songs.

Is this really my only support option with JRiver?  Not a single response to my issue in a week.  Is anyone else having difficulty syncing smartlists to Samsung Galaxy S3's?

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what playlist format the S3 supports.

You could try a few different ones in Options > Handheld > Files, Paths, & More.

A Google search shows it supports m3u.

Nick.

Maybe i'm missing something, but I don't see anywhere I can change the playlist type.

Files, Paths, and More has Paths, Save Cover Art, Save Video Thumbnails and Supported Types.  Where do I change the type of Playlist Exported?

Maybe this is a drive-style vs WMDM thing (how we talk to the device).

I'll do some testing on our side and follow-up later this week.

Thanks.

I'm syncing playlists of mp3 files ok to a Galaxy Nexus phone using MTP.  The playlists are ".pla" format and seem to work fine on the device.  However, I'm seeing some weirdness when I send playlists of flac files and have convert set to "always".  What file format are you sending over?
