Title: Playlist groups on Xbox360?
Post by: laerm on August 29, 2012, 04:22:09 pm
Hi all --

I've started playing music through the Xbox360 while I play games. I've got my DLNA server config'd from scratch as Xbox360 (no tweaks to it from that point) and I'm disappointed that playlist groups just show all files in all playlists. Is there something I can configure to make this happen (I already played around with views, looks like no), or is this possible in a future rev of MC, or are we out of luck thanks to how the Xbox works?

Thanks...
Micah

Hi Micah,

It looks to me like playlist groups aren't supported on the Xbox 360 (this is actually a fairly common shortcoming of uPNP playlist implementations).

Hm, OK. I am not familiar with uPNP so it's all news to me. Well, guess I'll have to deal with it...unless some brainiac here has an idea on a workaround. :) Thanks!
