Title: Unable to encode OGG to network drive
Post by: LBWood on September 03, 2012, 05:23:39 am
Another topic in this forum seems to suggest that the OGG encoder cannot handle a UNC path. Can anyone confirm that this is correct? I am trying to convert from FLAC to OGG to/from a networked media drive and the MC17 converter fails. I'm trying to figure out the reason.

I'm not sure on this one.  We use the default OGG encoder executable, and it's possible it has problems with UNC.

You could map the UNC path as a drive, and then use the drive.  It might work better.
