Title: Party mode and play counts

If MC is in party mode and you connect using dlna from another room do the play counts stay or are they discarded like any local changes made when in party mode?

I just thought about this my self. But I was wondering more generally if DLNA updated the Number Plays at all. I've never really tested DLNA that well. I've looked at the possibility of adding a TV with DLNA functionality in my workout room for some entertainment while I do the boring stuff that's good for the body. But if the Number Play counter is not increased, it will pose a problem. Then I'll have to look into purchasing a small cost effective HTPC instead.
