Hi,
I would like to play video for the kids so that it will end after or by a specific time. So, I could say you can watch 20 minutes of Cars 2 and no more. Or you can watch it until 5:15.
Thanks,
Matt

You could use either MC's built-in Services & Plug-ins > Scheduler, or Windows Task Scheduler to do this. It could send a Stop command, or Pause, or MC shutdown.
Would either of these things work for you?

Thanks. I've used MC Scheduler (Pause /MCC 10022, 1) for remembering to take one of the kids to the bathroom. Sometimes you get caught up in a movie, and then have to go change sheets. I was thinking of being able to select an option under Player. Also, how do you jump to a specific time in a video?

I don't know how to get to a precise time by numeric entry.
You can manually move the playback thumb, or use the Down Arrow to select the position OSD and then use left and right arrows.
If you want to pause the video and have it automatically begin playback where you left off, enable the Use Bookmarks tag (which is set to Default normally, so it being set depends on the media type / sub-type; the rules are internal to MC, and I don't know exactly what they are).

Thanks again. I appreciate your help.
The bookmark feature is great, and to get to a precise time would be helpful to me.
So, would it be possible to add options below Player > Stop After Current File to:
1. Jump To Specific Time (like VLC and MPC-HC)
2. Stop After Set Time
These options would be really useful. Does anyone else think so?

Ok, the Sleep Timer that Matt refers to here partially solves #2: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=73889.0 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=73889.0)
Those countdown numbers are huge and look like War Games!
