Title: Remote EQ question
Post by: Cazzesman on September 07, 2012, 07:59:15 pm
My listening position for music is 4 metres from my PC.    I would like to be able to adjust the EQ for audio as I listen.     I presume the best way to do this is to have some form of laptop/tablet etc that can directly access my PC via a software program i.e logmein or anywhere that gives me direct control of the JRiver software in real time.

I currently only run audio via usb to my digital amp.

I get the impression all the standard remotes on offer do not enable access to the EQ.

Any other suggestions.

I have been playing around with the free 'Logmein' remote software.  I was using my wife's macbook pro to login and get control of the PC.   Bingo.   Now from my listening position I can log into my PC from the macbook and adjust the JRiver EQ.    Cool :) :) :thumb:
