I have several instances of Media Jukebox running on different machines on a local network. All music is placed on a NAS, and I would like to be able to do the same thing with podcasts - so that I can access the same podcasts from several machines and avoid duplicate downloads. I have specified a shared directory for podcasts, but every instance of Media Jukebox only seems to pick up the episodes it has downloaded itself, not those downloaded by others in the same folder. Is there some way to achieve this?
Thanks in advance

Create a new view under Audio, and have it include Media Sub Type = Podcast. Here's one for a view I use which is called Downloaded Audio:
(-[Web Media URL]=[] or [Media Sub Type]=[Podcast])
The [Web Media URL] being not empty catches my Scheduler downloads.
Alternatively, if you're downloaded to a specific Podcast folder, you can use a rule to match the folder path.

It could be a solution, but I would like to be able to treat it as a podcast from all machines, such as to download new episodes from any machine. With a view I could see all episodes, but in the traditional podcast view I would only be able to see the episodes downloaded from that machine, and I would have to manually compare the views to decide which episodes to download.
On the plus side, the view gives a much better way to organize the podcasts.

In that case, you probably want MediaCenter and its Library Server.

I just realized that Media Jukebox actually does pick up podcasts downloaded by other instances, it was just that the naming conventions where different, and the episodes where thus not recognized. By applying the same file naming convention over all instances, it seems to work as I want it to!
Fantastic piece of software (when you use it right!).
@MrC, thanks for your comments and suggestions.
