Title: Error restoring Media Center license: Unknown error

-Just updated my pc from Win7 to Win8 RP
-Then installed Media Center 17.0.186
-Clicked on an InstallKey, it is 6 days old
- Had this error message
??

Please restore from the webpage.  If you're an Opera user, use IE instead:

I have tried that in IE.
Additional:
I updated from Win 7 (Norwegian) to Win 8 (English US)
The name of my install key file contains the word (International).
Does that mean anything?

Please enter your registration code (string of numbers and letters) on the restore page.  It will give you a new Install Key.

Sorry, still same message, Firefox as well as IE
The name of my installKey file is: Media Center Remote (International)1.0-172135.

It sounds like you might be entering the code from a purchase of a remote, which won't work for Media Center.

Your Media Center v17 code looks like:
4XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX8

Enter that full code in the restore box and it should work.
