Title: pdf CD booklets

with some CD downloads I get high-quality booklets in pdf format.

is there a way to accomodate them into the database so that it would be easy to browse them while listening?

other downloads contain booklet info in the Lyrics field in text format which is cool, but does not allow for photos and graphics ...

Import the PDF files into the MC library, and modify your view (or create a new one) to include the PDF files.  If the view uses typical tags such as Album and Artist, you'll want to tag the PDF in the same fashion as the audio tracks.  Otherwise, you can use a view that is based on folder path components.  This is an easier way to get started, pre-tagging the PDF files.
