Title: how to combine multi CD's into the same album?

I have some music that spans more than one CD's. When I rip the CD's JRiver puts a separate album for each CD. I want just the one album to show for all the CD's. Even when I move the files from the other CD's into the same folder where  the album is JRiver refuses to see them and the tracks shown does not change. How can I make this to work? There is no clear instructions that I can find that explains this.

1. Set the Disc # value for each track on an album (e.g. 1, 2, ...)
2. Ensure the Album value is exactly the same across all the tracks from all the discs.
