Title: What does "Present 24 bit audio as 32 bit" mean?

I have Googled this but there is virtually nothing on it.

To my understanding some hardware will only accept information packaged in a 32 bit format. If the audio you are trying to play is in a 24 bit format it will append zeros to the information to make it a 32 bit source without changing the original bits. So a 24 bit file can be played on hardware that only accepts 32 bit files.

I see. The PWD 2/Bridge accepts 24 bit so I guess I do not have to check that box. Thank you.
