hello,
i was running version .49 without issues and ripping blu rays using anydvd HD and things got a bit screwy after upgrading to version .51 and then to .55.
the problem is the program becomes unresponsive and crashes to desktop after attempting multiple discs. I attempted re re-rip last known successful disc and it is treated the same as all other discs. It goes to the circular status icon and if i wait long enough it tells me to "insert disc and click here" i click here and jriver seems to freeze, goes to white screen and windows explorer appears and the program subsequently crashes.
anydvd is removing protection as it should, but jriver is not registering anything as being present in the disc drive.
what is the protocol for this scneario?
Cheers,
Mywhey

176 is the current build.

i was referring to media center 18, i am not using version 17.
also, i removed v18 thru control panel and reinstalled and it removed my firefox somehow?? dont understand how that happened. but i reinstalled it and i also see that since i removed via control panel i am missing something called realmediasplitter.ax
is this the root cause of my current difficulties that i am missing this media splitter?
i have current v.55 installed and cannot rip as of now still.
please advise on how to proceed.
