I was receiving frequent emails with the unread posts. I always read some of them, the ones that interest me, but I am not receiving them since quite a wile.
Is there any reason for that?
-
BUMP!
No answer?
-
We emailed you the answer (sarcasm).
Is anyone else having a problem with this?
I asked Bob (our server expert) to take a look.
-
Thanks Mac:
Your answer made me laugh a lot and almost suppressed the depression I had LOL.
-
Noting yet?

Hi Matt:
Please look at my problem.
I am not receiving any emails and so, I am not aware of what is going on.
Kind regards
Joao
PS: by mistake I wrote your name as Mac, instead of Matt

BUMP!, BUMP!, BUMP.
Hi Bob:
Have you looked to my problem?
I keep being ignored, not receiving any emails with the unread posts, like in the past.
Matt: Please help
Kind regards
Joao

Have you any patience?!
-
I have a fair amount of patience.
But I am so addicted to the emails from MC that I am loosing my sleep.
Listen MC managers: You are causing me a depression.
Kind regards,
Joao

I apply to MC management in order to solve this problem. I don't know what to do more, but to do nothing is not a way of protecting MC customers. I already bought the upgrade to MC 18, but I feel really bad with this situation.
Best regards

Have you considered trying the RSS feed from Interact?
I use Google Reader to see all the new post headings in the feed, can look at a brief portion of the post, and if interested it will act as a link and take me to the post to read further and/or reply.
Might be worth a look.

AoXoMoXoA:
Thanks a lot for your answer, but I don't know even what is a RSS feed.
I just know the basics and I will be glad to receive the emails from the Interact Forum, as I was used to.
Any explanation will be very welcome.
Kind regards

Any explanation will be very welcome.
Bob explained in your other thread:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=75099.msg509481#msg509481
The e-mail is leaving JRiver correctly. It's likely that it is being treated as SPAM by your e-mail program or your service provider.
-
Jim:
I have checked wit my provider and also on my Microsoft 10 Outlook and there is not a Spam problem.
Kind regards

I deal with email delivery issues myself as part of my job. I've read Bob's reply in the other thread and I don't think there's much they can do. The email leaves jriver's email server and Bob checked manually if the connection can be established to your ISP's mailserver. If that all checks out there's not much else that can be done here, the mail gets lost in transit somewhere, problably at your ISP.
You could try signing up for one of the free email services, google or hotmail, yahoo, and change your email address for the subscription mails to the new address.
-
Thank you very much for your suggestion, InflatableMouse.
I understand your point, but why am I receiving emails from other sources without problems?
In the other hand, I have my email address since a long time and it is very difficult to change it, since it is the only one I have for hundreds of contacts.
Kind regards,
Joao

The suggestion to open another email account is a good one. The new one does not need to replace your old longstanding one. It would be used in addition to that.
I have several email addresses for various types of activities. Gmail (Google) is one of the better free ones. Here's the link: https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?service=mail&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2Fe-11-18cf093ffd190f5b81e175d6646260-26bc8f20d7a9ce273117720d5a04ee2b315b9143 (https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?service=mail&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2Fe-11-18cf093ffd190f5b81e175d6646260-26bc8f20d7a9ce273117720d5a04ee2b315b9143)
Most modern email programs, ie Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. can handle more than one email account. So get a Gmail address, integrate it in your email program along with your existing address. Give JRiver your new address and the problem should be solved.
Cheers,
Rod

Thank you very much Rod.
The problem is solved and was not email related.
Bob helped me to solve it and I am very grateful. It happens that, buy mistake, I told Interact Forum that I didn't want to receive anymore emails. I still don't know how I did that, but I prefer to assume the responsibility.
Thanks a lot to all that helped me. This Forum has outstanding people.
Kind regards.

Cool. Glad you got that sorted!

Glad it's solved!
