Title: Migrating MC17 to a new PC
Post by: SteveR on October 20, 2012, 07:08:57 pm
I have a dilemma, I am about to purchase a new W7 laptop and want to install MC17 on it using the current license. The problem is that the current version is embedded on the Hard drive of my current laptop that has failed, so I cannot uninstall it. The broken PC will hopefully be repaired, and a good chance that the contents of the faulty drive can be cloned.

Can install MC17 on the new machine, otherwise I'm going to be at least a couple of weeks without any music!

Is all your Music files on the bad drive? If not you can get a restore license and install MC on another PC... If you have your registration key.. Or just Install MC and use it for the trial period, until you can recover your registration key.Either way I am sure JRiver will work with you to resolve the problem.

To get a restore Key: https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi (https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi)
