Here's the new version for you people:
http://www.jda-ltd.com/freeware/mjav.exe
Please uninstall the previous version before installing this one.
Some notes:
1) I have totally re-written the back end code so scanning of the MJ database and maintaining the cross references is around 4x faster than the alpha version.
2) I have redesigned the UI somewhat to be more intuitive and make better use of the available screen space.
3) You should also check out the playlists synchronization mode where the plugin will automagically switch to the currently playing album/track. This is great for playlists with tracks from different albums. To activate it press the reddish square button on the toolbar.
4) I have removed the export functionality and the "raw" tracks grid. I may put it back ... I just haven't decided yet.
5) Setting the Fonts and colours will be in beta 2 which will be in the next few days
6) The MJ crashing/hanging bug is still there
Enjoy and let me know what you think.

An update.
I just fixed the "Thumbnails don't scroll into view when an album is selected from the treeview" issue and have now upped the setup.
When installing it should now say v0.1.1b
-
still not working for me. Same error as before - Unknown module blah blah...
-
Nila,
Can you switch on debugging and email me the trace file please so I can find out what is going wrong.
The instructions for doing this and my email address are in the readme file.
-
Rhino,
how is the program doing.....when can we all expect a new version?

Mike,
I'm just putting in the fonts/colours specifications that you wanted.
Anything that I can change programmatically I will allow you to do.
That should give you plenty of flexability.
Also I have completely reworked the thumbnail code so it should be flicker free now.
I expect to have 0.2.0b out today and your complete album view will be available by Friday at the latest.
The only downside at the moment is the fact that Nila can't run the darn application ... and I can't figure out why

Hey Rhino,
I've downloaded AlbumView and it installed and run on my system without any problem ( P4, Win2k, MJ 8.0.256)
It has the potential to be such a great plug-in, that it may be the final push I needed to fix my Album organization and find all the cover arts I can (I'm mostly organized by Artist right now)
Great Work!

Well with the help of Nila I traced down the problem and fixed it.
I *stupidly* forgot to include the richtext OCX in the setup package.
There will definately be a new release tonight.
