Title: Need help...songs tracks in Library shows-up Twice....

Just downloaded MC17 into Drive (C) SSD.... Transferred all my music from an external drive (J) I then copied all my music into my desktop
drive (I) Now, all of my music is showing up twice!!! I have 800gb of music instead of the normal 400GB. How do I delete the (path or thumbnails) from
my external drive (J) that I only use for backup??

1. Remove the undesired drive from Tools > Import > Configure Auto-import.
2. Use the Search Wizard to match the Filename (path) with the undesired files in the library (e.g. Filename (path) begins with J:\).
3. Select all the matched files and hit Delete to remove from the library.

Thanks, it worked....But could I have done the same thing by clicking on files from the left window and delete all of drive (J) files?

Yup, that would work too.  I usually answer this question in a generic way, so that the same answer applies regardless of view, or mode.  Some folks delete or modify the default views.
