Title: Tagging library fields
Post by: Fred1 on October 30, 2012, 08:59:55 am
When i tag my library, i often use the built in "clean file properties" menu item.
But the capabilities of this tool are somewhat restricted.
Therefore i'd like to extend it a bit, but i don't know how to do this.

Is it possible to write some "macros" with expressions, that are applied to the fields of marked lines?
How could i start those "macros"?

I would really appreciate some hints from you.

Thanks, Fred.

Thanks for your reply!

I read that, too, in the wiki.
But that's not quite what i want.

It should work over multiple fields with a set of one or more expressions.
Perhaps started by a button-click, so i don't have to paste a complex expression to the field editor every time.

Ideally the "Clean File Properties" dialog would be extendable with expressions of my own.
