Title: Recorded TV quits halfway through

I've had this problem three nights in a row now:

When playing back a recorded TV program, via my USB 3.0 External where I store all shows, the playback spontaneously quits and reverts back to the theater view page. It usually happens around the 30-35 minute mark for an hour long program.

I usually have to restart playback and skip over the "problem" spot, which indicates some kind of corruption in the audio / video file that MC can't get around.

Any thoughts?

What's the file type? Are these files recorded inside MC or imported from an external source?

I've seen this problem with DVR-MS files and from memory, it had to do with the default splitter codec being used (Microsoft).
