Title: SRT files and bulk renaming video files

Me and a friend of mine both use MC and have come across the same issue. When renaming files using tag information, the SRT (subtitle) sidecars tend to get orphaned/lost in the transition. Is there a way to avoid losing my subtitles, yet be able to bulk rename files/folders? Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to add SRT files to the library as bona fide, visible elements?
That way, it would be possible to include them in bulk renames or moves.
