Title: Video wall not honoring size settings
Post by: MrHaugen on November 06, 2012, 05:50:12 am
The Video wall list style does not honor the size settings in theater view options. As it is now, it's almost impossible to use this list style when you go above 100% size and are sitting a bit away from the TV. The cover art in this list style could be a bit smaller than other cover art like in grid view. But not by much. People need to be able to get a good feeling of all covers, even though the middle one should be the dominant.

Could you please look into linking the size settings to the Wall style?

Have this just been forgotten, or perhaps it's a bug? I just find it less likely to be part of the "design".

I was thinking of upgrading to 18 to see if the Wall list dvd cover art was larger than in 17 but from what you are saying it's not.  I too find it really hard to make out the cover art from 8-10ft away.  I would suggest that someone take a look at how MyMovies displays the cover art in WMC.  The size is perfect.   They allow you to configure the number of rows and columns and adjusts the size based on that.  Works perfectly.  I do hope someone here can fix the wall issue.  I have about 20 days still on my trial and will have to make a decision soon.

You can change the List Style of the 3D wall.  It's under "More".

But the list style doesn't change the dvd cover art size when using the 3d wall view...
