Title: JRiver and Skype
Post by: DwestSeattle on November 06, 2012, 03:29:52 pm
does anyone have any tips on making Skype and JRiver Theater view play nice together?  For instance, I would like it so that when there is an incoming skype call, that JRiver would mute volume and/or pause the currently playing media, and also allow Skype to open and take up some screen real estate in front of Theater View.  It doesn't work terribly well right now.

for that matter - any of you JRiver guys and gals thinking of writing a skype integration app into your theater view?  That would be pretty slick!

That is a cool little plug in and is a step in the right direction.  My problem is I mostly use theater view in a living room situation.  So I could be watching recorded TV or something.  If the author added other controls like auto-pause, and auto change view to mini or something like that, then we'd be in business!
