Title: Upgraded to 18 assuming it would overwrite 17. It Didn't. Both Installed Now

Running on Windows 7 64-bit. Should I have uninstalled MC17 first? I thought it would import settings, so I installed 18 over 17. I read the FAQ's and upgrade instructions, and searched this forum for detailed upgrade installation instructions and did not find and answer to this. Thanks for any helpful info.

Run MC18 until you know you're happy with it.  Then uninstall MC17.
