I have been fighting a couple issues for a while, and have not had any luck with any forum suggestions from similar issues. Both of my main issues right now seem to be exclusive to theater view:
1. Launching MC, going to Theater view, then starting any video causes MC to CTD. Launching MC, starting/stopping any video, then starting Theater view prevents this from happening 100% of the time. This has been happening for me since MC17. I have tried clean installing (wiped db and everything) and cleaning out existing codec packs.
2. Entering Theater view then starting a video with my remote causes most remote buttons to stop responding (including stop). All GUI controls are still responsive via the mouse, and stopping/starting the video with the mouse fixes this problem until the next time I exit Theater view. This is relatively recent (I've kept up on MC18 builds and it started within the last month). I have seen suggestions to press the green button, but I am currently using a generic remote without a mapped green button, and I would like a more graceful solution.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

+1 for point 2. This makes MC18 unusable for me.
