... you can get it here:
http://mitiok.ma.cx/
or here with Intel MMX, SSE & SSE2, and AMD 3DNow! optimizations (compiled by Intel Compiler 5.0.1 and Nasm).

Both downloads include .exe, .dll, and .acm versions.
(Last comma in a series is grammatically/punctuationally optional; I like it!)

How do you get this new version to be integrated into Media Jukebox.
Upgrading the version the real jukebox uses, I mean.

You can use the .exe version as an external encoder. I don't know how to use an internal version, I've always used the external because it provides more controls by way of command line switches; I'm guessing JRiver will have to make a new plugin.
Anyone from JRiver, can the lame_enc.dll be used by Media Jukebox as an encoder plugin? And why don't the IDs of your plugins give some indication of the version of LAME used?

This plug-in is based on LAME encoder version 3.91. For more information please
It is on the plug-in page.

lame.exe can be used with MJ 8.0 and mp3 encoder plug-in
Just replace the lame.exe file located in \Plugins directory with the new one. It's that easy.
We will update our mp3 plug-in tomorrow.

With 7.0, you can always use the External Encoder and specify the Lame v3.92 .EXE (download it from here)...that's how I used Lame in 7.0 MJ days so I could get full encoding option support.

You can also use the ogg external encoder with MJ. In fact, if you use the external encoder ability of MJ, you can use the new releases of any encoder as soon as they come out.
