Title: MC17 and Itunes metadata

I am a bit confused about whether MC17 actually uses and acceses Itunes metadata. I have MC17 pointing to my itunes library and there are fields like artist sort which are very useful but are not avaiable in MC17.  Does MC17 ignore all these fields or is there a  way to get at them.

No, it only reads the metadata from the media files themselves.

I am a great fan of MC17. However why not read the Itunes XML file and make those as extra data for tags available to MC 17 where applicable.   Other products in the market do do this ( but don't do many other things).
