When playing back a movie that I've already started, MC automatically starts at the last location played. Is there a way to either turn this behaviour off or have MC prompt you with what you would like to do, start from beginning or last location?
The other thing I noticed while watching a tv episode was that at the end of the episode, MC did not end the episode and go back to the episode listing but just stopped and stayed at a black screen. That needs to be corrected, unless there's a setting I didn't see...which is quite possible since there seems to be a million little settings that I'm slowly discovering...

Search the forum for "use bookmarking". There are tons of ways to customize the flexible system, from globally, to a per-file basis. You can also find a description of the default logic.

This shouldn't happen. Describe your setup in more detail.

Look under Options - General - Behavior "Resume playback using bookmarks" too...

Ok, found the auto resume option. Set it to ask.
Now, still have the problem of the episode not returning to the episode listing when it reaches the end.
