Title: First Time User Question

Hello everyone.
Just entered the world of computer audio with the purchase of the New Audiolab M-Dac and JRiver MC17.
What are the best import settings i should select.
Most of my collection is redbook cd, sacd and dvd audio and itunes and HD track downloads .

Welcome to the forum.

Just try ripping an audio CD.  It will rip to APE by default.  It's a lossless format and can be converted later to any other format, with no loss.
