Woah! Great in-depth review, and he did not even touch TV, images and all the other goodies.

Aren't the license terms in the article incorrect? I thought it was one license per user for a reasonable number of computers. Or something like that.

Very good review. Finally someone taking their time to get to know MC before they write the review.
Comment added, and licensing info are about to be changed I believe.

It does look like they got the licensing agreement wrong - at least according to my understanding of the terms. The article states it costs $50 per computer at a time then ends by saying a single license can be used on all computers. We'll read it for yourself - I copy-pasted the section (below). However, perhaps the author is correct in his understanding since he appears to have a personal computer(s) and a business (company owned?) computer.

It should also be noted that, if you wish to employ JRiver on multiple Windows machines, the $50 license fee is only good for one computer at a time, meaning multi-computer households would have to spend $50 per computer for all to enjoy in the JRiver functionality. In my home, this meant spending $100; $50 for my Media Center PC and $50 for my office computer. Although, JRiver states that the single license can be used on all the computers that are "yours."

The Purchase and License Recovery (http://www.jriver.com/purchase.html) webpage states the following:

Quote
Q: Can I install on more than one PC?
A: During the two-week period after you have purchased or restored, you can use the Install Key you received to activate the program on your other PC’s. You may use the program on your work PC and on your home PC's with a single license.

Also, the price is only $49.98.  ;)

He also said, incorrectly afaict, that a BD player like PDVD needs to be installed for MC to play BDs. I added a comment to say that a reader like AnyDVD HD is required but not a standalone player like TMT or PDVD.
