I live overseas and disabled everything I could think of on router, PC, etc.
The only thing that worked was to connect to my VPN (USA).
I'm guessing my ISP is blocking something?
I use teamviewer with no port forwarding with no problems.

I have 2 machines here side by side, one using OpenVPN, both running into same router then modem.
I can only connect to Library Server from WAN (3G testing on iPad or iPhone with Safari or JRemote) when I am on the VPN.
Both computers have the ports mapped in the same fashion?
Could this be related to how the router goes through the modem to connect to VPN? What port what that be, 80?
So when I'm on the VPN I'm tunneling through something that is open on the modem (also a router with it's firewall off).
thanks,
Jon
Options StrongVPN offers.

Just picked up a new 3G router and I have the same issue. I can only reach my Library Server over WAN when using a VPN located in the USA...
MC team, please advise.

I don't believe there's anything special about a Library Server or a JRiver server that would care about your country of origin.
So something is probably blocking your traffic, possibly due to the port. I don't think JRiver can really help you with this.
You could try different ports in Options > Media Network. Or you could talk to your network provider.

Thanks Matt, that's where this led me last time, but I never followed up on it.
