I have one coming tomorrow and have seen good reviews on the sound.

Yes, on my kindle hd fire it works absolutely fine.

Do you use it for music/video playback on the kindle, or just as a remote control for the music server ?

How do you get the Kindle Fire HD to play movies? Can't make it work on my wife's
