Here's how I want to configure it....
While in Theater View, after playing a TV show I want it to...
Stop the file (not automatically play the next file), and prompt a Delete Yes/No option.
If this is possible, and I'm sure it is... How do I accomplish this?
-
I do not think that sort of "scripting" after playback is possible, but I can't say with 100% certainty.
What I would do is to use the Watch option. NOT Watch all. Watch will stop after each file. Watch all will not. Then you hit Enter and select Delete. This process ONLY make you hit enter two times more than normally. It should not be a terrible burden ;)
You can also do this in batches. If you reset your views (with updated MC), you'll end up with the Watched/Not watched indicator. So you can delete all items that's watched.

Isnt "watch" the default option when selecting?
There's no delete option on the toolbar...
-
When you hit enter, you'll have an option that is called Delete on the top roller. When playing video from a view with more than one item, you'll have the option of selecting Watch All and Watch. The one you select will be the default for videos after that. Until you restart MC.

See... that's the problem. There is no delete option on the top roller...
-
Get some glasses then :P
It's actually on the second roller, as the first roller only have video title. When you enter a video item (going to the full screen info view) you'll have Back, Watch, Tag and Delete. If those 4 options are not present in your theater view, then you either have a very outdated build of MC, or there's some difference between the client and server setup. But I doubt the last part. I remember seeing the option on a standalone install on my test PC earlier this day.

On the top roller I have: Back, Criminal Minds 8x08, play all, more, playing now
Under "more" I have: toggle list style, burn, play, volume up, volume down
I'd like to roll "delete" into the top roller. Even if it's under the "more" setting.

Select an item in the list, and then hit Right.
-
Got it, thank you.
Is there any way I can customize the listed options, as described above?
-
I think these are the built-in.
