Title: Netflix and playback device (+ convolution)

Hi,

I was wondering why Netflix doesn't use the playback device set in JRiver? I'm getting the impression Netflix completely bypasses jriver, is this true? I was hoping to use convolution with netflix so if there is a solution (other than loopback) I would love to hear from you.

+1, but my understanding is the same as yours, it bypasses DSP. But I have not seen this confirmed. Would be nice to know the actual audio path.
